Sakura Kinomoto
Sakura is a 4th grader at Tomoeda Elementary School. She is ten years old when she becomes a Card Captor. She was home alone and she was doing her chores when she heard something downstairs in her father's study. She grabbed her baton(in case it was a burglar) and headed downstairs...but all she found was a glowing book. That would give her the biggest adventure of her life. She opened the book, and read the first card she found inside--Windy. Once she said that word all the cards in the book flew out and scattered all over the city she lived in. Keroberos, also known as Kero-chan, emerged from the book for he was the guardian of the seal who had just happened to fall asleep and in the process wasn't able to keep the cards from escaping. So Kero-chan makes Sakura a Card Captor. I won't tell any more cause it's spoilers, and well I haven't gotten to see the rest of the series. I've gotten online and found out about the rest from other sites, but I'll wait till I can give my own acount. ^_^ Sakura's family includes: her father-Fujitaka Kinomoto, her mother-Nadesiko Kinomoto, and brother-Touya Kinomoto. Both her Mom and brother have the ability to see spirits, which accounts for why Sakura is so afraid of ghosts... Her mom died when Sakura was only 3 years old, but she remembers her mom with the help of her father, who puts a new picture of Nadesiko out everyday. They have a lot of pics of Nadesiko because she was a model. Sakura is also cool because of the little words that she can claim as her own, such as "hoe" or "hanyaan".
